ACM Attends PLRB Conference

The PLRB Conference was held at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida from March 19 to March 22, 2023. This conference hosted professionals in the insurance claims industry with a range of service providers to insurance associations and insurance companies.

PLRB stands for the Property and Liability Resource Bureau and it serves members through promotion of education, sharing information on property and liability issues and encouraging efficiency and productivity in processes for property, liability and claims.

The Association of Certified Meteorologists (ACM) was an exhibitor at the conference from Sunday March 19 through Tuesday March 21, 2023. Megan Walker, Jim Bria and Mark McGinnis interacted with dozens of contacts at the conference. They introduced those contacts to the ACM Consulting Members available on the ACM website. Many consulting members of ACM provide research or expert reports for weather claims ranging from catastrophic loss to slip and falls. The ACM marketing committee is in the process of following up with the contacts from PLRB to open up opportunities for the ACM membership.
